The product isn't really all that big, what with its screen size of 23 inches, although one could say that it is still larger than so-called mainstream monitors.

Samsung has made a new 55 inch smart television in glasses-freetechnology.
To prove that glasses free 3DTV does not need to be shown on a tiny screen, Samsung’s new prototype 3DTV comes on a massive 55 inch screen and is completely glasses free. Currently for the glasses free 3D to be effective, it needs to be shown on a small screen such as the Nintendo 3ds.
A 55-inch3D LCD TV viewable without special glasses at FPD China 2011. The new 3D LCD TV reportedly had a functional switch between 2D and 3D modes. The TV is equipped with an LCD panel whose optical refraction index can be changed in front of an LCD panel used for displaying images. Samsung believes this prototype will be commercially available in about three years.
Autostereoscopic technology allows the viewer to view 3D images without the need of special eyewear. Toshiba and other companies are developing similar technology, banking on commercial and consumer calls for glasses-free viewing of 3D images.

Facebook inside Xperia promises to more deeply integrate your phone (including your calendar, contacts, and even music) with the social network……….
Sony Ericsson‘s Xperia Arc and Xperia Play will waltz into the land of Android 2.3.3 next week and assuming that UK mobile networks approve, users should see their handsets ready for upgrade very soon. Both the Xperia Arc and Xperia Play will get updated to Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread and gain the new deeper Facebook integration next week. Facebook inside Xperia will add a handful of new features to Xperia handsets. Liking music currently playing on your phone will send an update to your Facebook feed, which can be clicked through for more information via Sony Ericsson‘s TrackID, whilst photos can be uploaded and now downloaded and kept on your phone. Your Facebook calendar will also sync to the phone and your Google account, meaning we’ll have no excuse for missing birthdays ever again. Contacts on your phone can also be more deeply connected to Facebook profiles, and you’ll be able to see their status updates, interests, and more. Calum MacDougall, Head of Web Service Partnerships at Sony Ericsson told us that Facebook inside Xperia was not about making a ”Facebook phone” but “enriching the experience” of using the phone alongside Facebook’s features.
MacDougall also said that these embedded Facebook features would be an ongoing project- but that it would focus on Sony Ericsson’s strength in entertainment, and vowed they wouldn’t look to replicate features that already worked well on the original Facebook app. Any Facebook-phobes will be glad to hear that these Facebook features can be switched off, either individually, or all-together, although we’re waiting to hear back from Sony Ericsson on how much space your giant Facebook photo library will take on the phone. Facebook inside Xperia will come to all future Xperia models, and all phones released so far this year. Expect to find the new features on Xperia Neo, Xperia Mini and Xperia Mini Pro later this year.

The MeeGo 1.2 Core OS provides a complete set of enabling technologies for mobile computing
The MeeGo 1.2 Core release provides developers with the MeeGo kernel, device drivers, middleware subsystems, and common API components, necessary to develop future MeeGo compliant solutions. The Core images do not contain reference user experience frameworks or applications. Those are part of MeeGo UX images, which provide adaptations of MeeGo for the characteristic needs of various device category interaction models and use case needs.
Download the MeeGo 1.2 SDK to get the latest tools for creating and debugging MeeGo applications for tablets, netbooks, and handheld devices.
The MeeGo SDK provides the Qt Creator-based development environment with integrated help, along with Qt Simulator, and a full virtual machine (QEMU), to enable the developer to create applications ready for submission to an appstore, with or without target hardware.
Supported hosts are Ubuntu 10.04, 10.10; Fedora 13, 14; Windows XP and Windows 7.

The MeeGo v1.2 for IVI release includes:
A sample IVI Homescreen and speech recognition enabled application launch menu built with QML, and a collection of commonly used QML based applications. The application launch menu can be controlled by speech, or by a Contour ShuttleXpress scroll wheel, touch screen, or mouse and is designed to reflect the scroll wheel usage, with the ability to spin through the menu options and make selections or go back, by pressing two buttons or by tapping the touch screen.
TTS (Text-to-speech) is supported using Festival Speech Synthesis. TTS is enabled by default in the Homescreen menu navigation.
Speech recognition for the application launch menu uses the integrated PocketSphinx 0.6.1 package, which is a lightweight, cross-platform engine built using the Sphinx speech recognition toolkit. PocketSphinx provides a GStreamer plugin, allowing the application to create a pipeline to parse the human voice, based on words defined in the dictionary. Voice commands for the homescreen application launch menu have been pre-defined for navigating the scroll menus. Additional voice commands may be added by application developers.
QT-Mobility (QML) integration and QML based sample applications which include, but are not limited to: video player, song player, photo viewer, settings management, and MeeGo Touch Framework based sample applications provided along with MeeGo 1.1 IVI. An updated version of the MeeGo 1.1 IVI handsfree dialer is also included.
MeeGo Core OS: The MeeGo In-Vehicle Infotainment image includes the MeeGo 1.2 Core OS.

Fujitsu has just unveiled their newest 10.1-inch netbook in Malaysia that runs on MeeGo Linux operating system. Known as the Esprimo MH300, this mini laptop comes with a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 display, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 processor, a 1GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive and a 3-cell battery. The Esprimo MH300 will retail for $322.
Fujitsu has just released a new convertible tablet fujitsu TH40/D. This product combine both tablet and laptop. A neatly combine full QWERTY keyboard required to do the combine. Fujitsu TH40/D has just been unveiled in japan. Multitouch 10.1" display with 1024x600 resolution. Intel Oak Trail 1.5GHz ATOM Z670 CPU and support 1GB RAM. Fujitsu TH40-D can transform a tablet into a notebook computer by using its slide out keyboard.
A slide-out tablet running on Windows 7, you say? Not to be confused with the Samsung Sliding PC, what we have here is the Fujitsu LifeBook TH40/D that's just been announced for the Japanese market. Inside this 2.4-pound convertible laptop you'll find a 1.5GHz Oak Trail Atom Z670, 1GB of non-expandable DDR2RAM, a 10.1-inch 1,024 x 600 touchscreen, a 120GB 4200rpm hard drive, and a battery life of around 6 hours. Other tidbits include 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a couple of USB 2.0 ports, HDMI-out, an SD card slot, and a teeny optical trackpad placed next to the short space bar. Can't say we're digging some of the limitations on this TH40-D, but if you still want one, then be ready to fork out about ¥80,000 ($990) at the end of June.
