This is definitely a great idea but I’m not sure it’s really innovative. In fact, many pay-TV providers have had similar apps for quite a while though DISH was the first one to offer live streaming outside of the home with the Sling Adapter. I’ve been able to use it since it was released because I work for DISH. It’s a great app and I use it all the time, especially on vacation. I can manage my DVR and watch live and recorded TV, all away from home.
